Unlock ему не пробовал делать? ИМЕЙ у него родной?
P.S. По поводу цвета:
Phone Certificate colours description:
Red: Red colour means certificate for end user. This is the normal colour we will find in any phone we will see. This colour is for program and hasn’t any hardware meaning. Flashing colours hasn’t any relationship too with possible errors in the phone.

Brown: Brown colour is for development. If we want to unlock, flash, repair or touch anything in the software the phone colour must be brown. That’s why all the tools convert first the phone to Brown and then again in Red. Also phone colour hasn’t relationship with online updates, that’s Cda. The commercial samples are Brown or Red, but when you work with a phone with this tool you will have at the end of the process a Red Certificate.

Blue: Blue certificate colour is used to phones which have not a complete flash development. The phone is a trial version or is exposed in some place it’s really difficult to find this kind of phones.
Т.е. как я понимаю, программа сама конвертирует сертификат в нужный цвет (это касается USB Smart, с HWK не работал)
