Приложение JTAG Manager от RIFF JTAG обновлено до версии 1.38, выпущена микропрограмма RIFF Box версии 1.29, добавлена поддержка чипсета Nvidia Tegra 2.


Новое в ПО JTAG Manager версии 1.38:

- Добавлена опция отключения проверки Target ID при восстановлении.
- Добавлена опция настроек «Erase Full NAND/NOR Memory» (в настройках, по нажатию кнопки Code).

Новое в firmware бокса RIFF версии 1.29:
Улучшена обработка устройств с MPCore.
Исправлена ошибка в обработке ARM7: добавлено отключение аппаратных брейкпоинтов при выполнении операций halt.

Добавлены вспомогательные инструкции, улучшающие функциональность GDB-сервера.


Для Samsung_I9100.dll (Exynos4210):

- Доработано восстановление (не восстанавливаются загрузчики FBL, IBL и PBL, как и было указано в прошлой версии DLL).
Теперь область boot проходит полное восстановление, гарантирующее, что телефон включится после восстановления (при отсутствии аппаратных проблем).

HTC Droid Incredible 2 ADR6350 Boot repair, Unlock, CID, ModelID, IMEI Update

Resurrecting HTC Incredible 2 (Droid Incredible 2 ADR6350VW) is easy. Phone is auto powered on with USB Data Cable connected to the PC while battery is connected.

Some (or all) revisions of HTC Incredible 2 boards have JTAG interface disabled (that is enable MARM JTAG Fuse is blown in the MSM8655 chip). In this case the JTAG may be enabled only by firmware itself. This is done by the FSBL loader, so writing to FSBL area is artificially disabled in the DCC Loader code. DCC Loader will discard all flashing attempts into FSBL zone and will respond with success code as if flashing succeeded. In this way FSBL zone is protected while user still can flash full image files seamlessly.
Resurrector will reflash radio’s boot zone (except FSBL area) and will re-write PDA’s SPL version 6.13.1002. Additionally to SPL and Radio zones, the zone which contains Model ID is re-flashed too. Thus after resurrection phone will have Model ID = ‘PG3210*****’.
There is option to reflash BOOT and RECOVERY zones.
Please note, if your phone has the FSBL loader damaged and MCU has JTAG FUSE blown then there is no way to resurrect your phone via JTAG interface.

To resurrect HTC Incredible 2:

• Solder JTAG cable to HTC Incredible 2 JTAG pads;
• Insert batter and connect USB Data cable;
• Make sure HTC Incredible 2 is selected in the list of models;
• If you use only battery, press Power On key;
• Click Resurrect button;
• Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
• Disconnect power supply, de-solder JTAG wires;

Now phone is in bootable condition, that is, even if it does not start up normally you can flash it using known flashing methods.

To enter download mode:

• Disconnect PC cable;
• Insert battery;
• Hold ‘Volume Down’ key and press ‘Power ON’ button.

Samsung GT-P6800 Galaxy Tab 7.7 Unbrick – Boot repair supported, World First !
Samsung P6800 is based on the Exynos Processor (Cortex-A9 Dual-Core). JTAG pads are very small; professional experience in soldering is required to connect wires to the JTAG interface.
Note, one simple way to connect over JTAG – connect USB cable to PC and insert battery. In this case phone is automatically powered on.
To resurrect Samsung P6800:
Solder JTAG cable to Samsung P6800 JTAG pads;
Connect USB cable to phone and PC;
Insert battery;
Make sure Samsung P6800 is selected in the list of models;
Make sure a fixed TCK frequency is selected;
Click Resurrect button;
Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
Disconnect USB cable, de-solder JTAG wires;
Now phone is in bootable condition, that is, even if it does not start up normally, you can flash it using original Samsung downloader software to restore it to the working state.
To enter download mode:
Disconnect PC cable;
Insert battery;
Hold both ‘Volume Down’ and ‘Home’ keys and press Power-On.

RIFF JTAG – LG P350 Pecan / Optimus Me Unbrick – Boot Repair supported

Resurrecting LG P350 is very hard because it requires non-beginner soldering skills (since JTAG pads on board are very small and are close to each other).
Phone is auto powered on with USB Data Cable connected to the PC. Battery presence is not required; connection can be established with detached board.
To resurrect LG P350:
Solder JTAG cable to LG P350 JTAG pads;
Insert USB Data cable into board and PC;
Make sure LG P350 is selected in the list of models;
Click Resurrect button;
Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
Disconnect power supply, de-solder JTAG wires;
Now phone is in bootable condition, that is, even if it does not start up normally, you can flash it using known flashing methods. We used KDZ_FW_UPD update software (with settings Type = 3GQCP, PhoneMode = EMERGENCY) to flash the *.KDZ firmware into phone.
To enter emergency mode:
Disconnect PC cable;
Insert battery;
Hold ‘Volume down’ key and press ‘Power ON’ button. In few seconds you should see emergency mode screen saying “DOWNLOAD MODE”.

RIFF JTAG – HTC Sensation XL X315 / Bass (HTC Runnymede) Unbrick, Unlock, IMEI and CID update supported
Repairing bricked HTC SensationXL (PI39200) is easy using RIFF Box. Phone is auto powered on with USB Data Cable connected to the PC while battery is connected.

RIFF JTAG – Samsung SCH-I500 Galaxy S Mesmerize/Fascinate Unbrick Supported
Repairing bricked Samsung SCH-I500 Galaxy S Mesmerize/Fascinate is easy with RIFF Box.
I500 is based on the S5PCxxx Processor (ARM core is Cortex-A8). Please note the adaptive clocking mode (RTCK) is not available on this processor, so make sure to select a fixed TCK frequency.
To establish the JTAG connection attach battery cable and press Power On key.
In case after resurrection the download mode is not initiated (LCD remains blank) do repeat resurrection with ‘Clone Gremlin zone’ option checked.
To resurrect Samsung I500:
Solder JTAG cable to Samsung I500 JTAG pads;
Attach battery cable and press Power On key;
Make sure Samsung I500 is selected in the list of models;
Make sure a fixed TCK frequency is selected;
Click Resurrect button;
Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
Disconnect USB cable, de-solder JTAG wires;
Now phone is in bootable condition, that is, even if it does not start up normally, you can flash it using original Samsung downloader software to restore it to the working state.

RIFF JTAG – Samsung SCH-i920 Omnia II 8GB Unbrick – Dead Boot repair supported

Repairing bricked Samsung I920 AP (PDA Part) is easy with RIFF Box. Due to some hardware pecularities, we recommend to use only battery without USB cable connected. Please note, during connection establishment phase you will have to press the Power On key twice.
To resurrect Samsung I920 AP:
Solder JTAG cable to Samsung I920 AP JTAG pads;
Make sure Samsung I920 AP is selected in the list of models;
Insert battery; make sure no USB cable or charger is connected;
Press the Power On key;
Click Resurrect button;
When it stops at “Establish communication with the phone…” press the Power On key again;
Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
Disconnect USB cable, de-solder JTAG wires;
To resurrect Samsung I920 CP:
Solder JTAG cable to Samsung I920 CP JTAG pads;
Make sure Samsung I920 CP is selected in the list of models;
Insert battery and connect USB cable or charger;
Wait till AP part boots up completely;
Click Resurrect button;
Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
Disconnect USB cable, de-solder JTAG wires;
Now phone is in bootable condition, that is, even if it does not start up normally, you can flash it using known flashing methods.
